Today, D was also off, and we had a list of several things to do. Mostly some shopping for plants and stuff to make the garden better. This took a while, and we ended up at Il Posto for tea and cake and S was able to come and meet us there. Then we went back and started on the garden. We dug out some beds and filled them with good soil before planting up with caladiums and white petunias. There was some cutting back of trees and general pruning and things started to look so much better. D&S had already cleared masses of stuff a few weeks ago and had laid some tiles at the front. The white leaves and flowers look nice and bright in the new beds.
D got out the BBQ from Norway/ Lowestoft, and we barbecued kebabs to have with salad, surrounded by some new plants and herbs in pot on the outside shelves!
