A short stay in the Loire Valley

We journeyed to France on the Eurostar from St Pancras and changed trains and stations in Paris. All went smoothly and we arrived in Tours in the early evening. Being Sunday, it was a bit tricky for eating as many restaurants are closed and the ones that were open were getting quite busy, but we were so lucky to find 'Au Lapin qui Fume' open. We had a lovely meal and chatted with a couple from England/ Australia who had been in Tours for a few days and were leaving the next mroning. We had a few tips from them on what to see in the town.
